I am in Berlin for a Bertelsmann Foundation event this evening. With music and singers of course. They have put together an excellent program and I spent last evening at the rehearsal in Daniel Barenboim's Orchestra rehearsal room in the Berlin State Opera. (He is away at the Met conducting Tristan)
More about this later. Meanwhile today I will have the opportunity of seeing and hearing all the current members of the State Opera's International Opera Studio members when they have a masterclass with Brigitte Fassbaender.
