.....until the world première of Death and the Powers in Monte Carlo. The tension is mounting I guess although I feel somewhat insulated from it here in the Midwest! But I know that Tod Machover, Diane Paulus, and all the cast and personnel involved must be aching to get over there to resume the work that they have been doing all summer in Boston/Cambridge. You can follow the last stages of the production period on the blog that has been created for the purpose by our friends in the Media Lab at MIT.
There are a good many videos on the blog which give a sense of this unique piece. And you can buy tickets for the performances during COT's spring 2011 season at the Harris Theater here in Chicago, by going to COT's website.
This is the climax of a collaboration that we have been involved with for some five years. So I will be in Monaco for the final final stages and will be reporting from there soon after I arrive on September 21.
Meanwhile we are havng a lovely relatively cool Labor Day weekend. Chicago is looking very pretty.
