We have a new "outlet" for delicious things in Chicago which opened some four weeks ago. And it is just 100 yards from the COT's offices - just the place for me to get some goodies for a dinner party. This is Toni Patisserie and Café - 65 East Washington.
Yesterday evening's treat was a fabulous blueberry tart. I will be making regular visits to this excellent place during the coming winter to provide a little polish to my modest offerings! My readers who are in Chicago should go in to see what they have. Its all good and I forecast the same prosperous future for them that Pastoral has established on Lake Street, just two blocks away.
Another wretched day today - seemed to cheer up in the late afternoon and then burst into tears again.
