I have a really unpleasant cold and have essentially spent the last two days at home drinking water and keeping quiet. But I am off to the Garrick this evening for dinner with an old friend. This will either kill or cure!!
Meanwhile I have been only able to look out of the window towards the east down Ackmar Road - not a ravishingly beautiful view. But there are nice clouds, and you can see the Shard in the distance!
