Yes, a very mundane thing - closets! Moving from a Chicago apartment to London with all the stuff that one accumulates is a real pain......I have now idea how I will stuff all these things in. I have been on my feet for three days straight. I am in pain!!!!!
Never mind - we will move on. I am about to say quits so that I can be up in the morning around 5:00 to quietly manage myself to get to the 7:30 Eurostar. Easy.......and it will be a huge thrill to be at Pierre Audi's new production of Medée tomorrow evening at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées. Emmanuelle Haïm is in charge in the pit with her wonderful orchestra the Concert d'Astrée. Emmanuelle was with us at COT in 2004 (oh so long ago) for those memorable performances of Agrippina.
And there is another nice Chicago connection - Tony and Lawrie Dean, he our former board member at COT and both our major benefactors, will be there as well. And we should make it to Bofinger after the performance - a good place for late food and open on Monday evenings. Always a challenge in Paris.

There is much to miss
