The application process began at the beginning of the month. All my young singer readers and others who know young singers should have a look at this biennial competition. There is a hefty first prize of €15,000 so it is worth the effort!
All applications are done on line and the process is comparatively simple. I will be hearing most of preliminary auditions to select the candidates for the final rounds. So if you are in China, Japan, North or South America, or anywhere in Europe other than Rome, Vienna or Moscow, you will have to contend with me!
Sign up now - if you get to the finals in Germany in October it will be the best fun you will have all year! Go for it!
