Mr. Dickie,

I'm glad to hear that sales are good for "Nixon in China." It's an amazing work, one that I think will surprise those audience members who tend to shy away from "contemporary" music.

Portland Opera's doing Jim Robinson's production of "Nixon" at the end of the month, and from what I gather, interest in these parts is also quite high. (I deliver all of the pre-performance talks for the company, so I'm counting on an inquisitive crowd.)

I'll keep you posted...
